How this helps the Des Moines Social Club:

The Des Moines Social Club is a not-for-profit whose mission is to use the arts to create unprecedented community engagement.  They have a multi-use facility across from the Pappajohn Sculpture Park which focuses on the development and retention of local talent.

In the DMSC, they have an art gallery, cabaret lounge, black box theater and classroom space which both houses their own program and is available for rental by the community.

The DMSC has received a $10,000 challenge grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines.   If DMSC can raise $10,000 from new, individual donors, the CFGDM will contribute match that amount dollar for dollar.

Every new sign up and every new dollar donated brings a great community asset closer to it’s grant challenge.
