Dwolla Spots – The future of payments is here

Dwolla Spots and our new mobile features may be complicated features but the use of them is actually quite simple.

The new iOS application will be available as a download through the App store shortly. It will be an update to the existing client application.

Blur Media in DSM really knocked this one out of the park. A big thanks to Blur Media and Mars Cafe!

Our friends at ABC5 also came out to cover the launch. A big thanks James and the fine folks at Raygun for hosting!

Did you miss the event? Thanks to Silicon Prairie News you can see the entire live stream here.

Dozens of your competitors are asking themselves “Why didn’t I think of that?”

Great stuff. You guys should target ski resorts and merchants at the resorts :)

I went skiing with the family @ Keystone, CO a few months ago. I was told that I can ‘connect’ my lift ticket with my credit card so I didn’t have to bring my bulky wallet. So, I did that and I thought I was all set.

Well, I found out the hard way, at the checkout counter with my tray full of food, that most places @ the resort didn’t accept the ‘connected’ lift ticket for payment! I felt so bad when the cashier grabbed my tray full of food away and I had to tell the kids that I can’t get them any lunch:(

So we had to get by sharing a cup of hot chocolate for lunch. The only thing I can buy with change I found in my pocket.
