Cat is out of the bag. We are now national.

In addition to the Meetup event going on tonight and the Info2Go fun we’ve been having,  we are also happy to announce that we are now national!

We are very excited about this week. As part of our national release we are also sharing the beginning of a new video series we’ve been fortunate to work with Keri Thien on. Here is a video that explains how Dwolla works:

As you know, the news kind of made a “splash.” Weird how a good idea can catch fire, even if you’re based in the Silicon Prairie.  We’ll be updating this blog throughout the week, so feel free to stop back to stay up to date on what’s going on with Dwolla. For now we’d like to hand out a few thanks:

We’d like to thank David Pitt from the AP for his story. It’s been republished in a “few” publications. We are stunned, excited, humbled, and ready for what’s next :)

Here are a few referrers this morning that have left us speechless:

We’d like to thank Donelle Eller and her front page spread and the local Des Moines Register! This huge for us in our Midwestern community and we really appreciate your coverage!

A few months back, we talked to Mark Hachman of PC Mag and he did a great article about our platform. Well, he was kind enough to revisit us!

Of course, we have to give our thanks to our great friends at Silicon Prairie News for their recent article by Geoff Wood. Thank you for legitimizing what startups can offer in the Midwest! Read their article!

Hi, I am starting a basically a one on one studio class in the Los Angeles area. I want to set it up so clients simply schedule the time and date they want the class, and then pay for it, using it Dwolla?

If you need beta testers to try your product out, and it would work for my situation, please let me know. I am a bit offput at your retail services slant as that is why our country is losing its economy, since most of the products people buy are now made in other countries.

So please don’t forget the small business owner that provides added value to the products and services they sell and might like using your product. I would also suggest you not grow too fast so that you can figure out how to deal with the scam artists who inevitably will try and steal from you and your customers before you go national.
